Subject: Cloudflare Nameservers
How are Cloudflare's nameservers different from the DNS provided by Google DNS or OpenDNS? Can I delegate to
Cloudflare nameservers while still using my host’s DNS?

Hi [Customer Name],
Good day! I am Jane from the Cloudflare Support team, and I am glad to assist you with this case.
I understand you have two queries: the differences between Cloudflare DNS and Google DNS or OpenDNS; Is it possible to delegate to Cloudflare and keep using the DNS of your host.
In response to the first question, Cloudflare DNS delivers faster query response times compared to both Google DNS and OpenDNS. Additionally, it offers strong security and exceptional redundancy that the other two providers can't match.
For Cloudflare and Google DNS comparation, please refer to this article:
Cloudflare VS Google DNS
For Cloudflare and OpenDNS comparation, we do not have official document, however, you can get some information by searching online.
For the second question, the answer is no.you cannot delegate to Cloudflare nameservers while simultaneously using your host's DNS for the same domain. Based on this article, Cloudflare requires you to change your domain's nameservers to its own for full DNS management. If you want to use Cloudflare's services, you must point your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare's. However, you can delegate main domain to Cloudflare while keeping your subdomain's DNS with your host.
